Dana Matzen, PhD, brings nearly 20 years of pharmaceuticalindustry expertise and leadership experience. Dana plays a key role in dealsourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiating, closing transactions, andadvising on portfolio company strategies. Prior to joining CTI, Dana held senior leadership andC-suite roles at venture-backed companies, including SaNOtize Research &Development and AmacaThera, and previously served as VP of Business &Corporate Development at IntelGenx Corp. and Director of BD at Paladin Labs.Across these roles, she led multiple licensing, partnering, and corporatedevelopment transactions with global pharmaceutical companies.

Dana began her career at L.E.K. Consulting, advising lifesciences companies on growth strategy, portfolio prioritization, and M&A.She holds a PhD in life sciences and brings a strong operator’s perspective toinvesting, particularly in early clinical development and company building.
